Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Guestlancer! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our platform. By accessing and using Guestlancer, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Who We Are

Guestlancer is an online marketplace connecting hospitality businesses (“Clients”) with freelance consultants (“Freelancers”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any related interactions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use Guestlancer.

2. Platform Services

Guestlancer provides two primary services: a) Matching Service – Clients submit a project, and we recommend up to three Freelancers. b) Freelancer Database Access (Coming Soon) – Clients can browse and contact Freelancers directly. We do not employ Freelancers but act as an intermediary to facilitate connections. We are not responsible for the quality, delivery, or outcome of any work agreed upon between Clients and Freelancers. Guestlancer complies with UK consumer protection laws, ensuring transparent transactions and fair practices.

3. Registration & Accounts

Users must register and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Clients and Freelancers must be at least 18 years old to use our platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Users agree to comply with UK data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

4. Payments & Fees

Matching Service: Clients pay a one-time fee per project for curated Freelancer recommendations. Freelancer Database Access (Coming Soon): Clients will pay a subscription fee for a 7-day access period. Payments are securely processed via Stripe, and all transactions are final unless otherwise stated. Guestlancer takes no responsibility for payment disputes between Clients and Freelancers. All payments and fees are subject to UK tax regulations, and invoices will be provided upon request.

5. Client & Freelancer Obligations

Clients Agree To: a) Provide accurate project details. b) Pay the required service fees before receiving Freelancer recommendations. c) Engage with Freelancers in good faith and under fair terms. d) Comply with UK employment laws when contracting Freelancers. Freelancers Agree To: a) Provide truthful information about their skills and experience. b) Honor agreements made with Clients. c) Maintain professional conduct in all engagements. d) Be responsible for their own tax and legal obligations as self-employed professionals under UK law. Guestlancer reserves the right to remove any Freelancer or Client who engages in misconduct, fraud, or unethical practices.

6. Disclaimers & Limitations Of Liability

Guestlancer is a facilitation platform and does not guarantee any work, payment, or project success. We are not responsible for disputes, service quality, or financial agreements between Clients and Freelancers. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Guestlancer is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from platform use.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Matching Service: Fees are non-refundable once we provide Freelancer recommendations, in accordance with UK consumer contract regulations. Freelancer Database Access (Coming Soon): Subscription fees are non-refundable after access is granted. Exceptions may be made at Guestlancer’s discretion for extenuating circumstances.
